In order to provide opportunities for young Arab scientists to participate in international conferences and to continue with their higher education in the field of nutrition, MARS, in coordination and cooperation with the Arab Center for Nutrition, has established the MARS Fellowship Programme for Young Arab Scientists. This programme consists of two sections.

 

 

Diet-related diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, cancer, obesity, osteoporosis and diseases of mouth and teeth. In addition to nutrition deficiencies such as nutritional anemia and micronutrient deficiencies, have become most important health problems in the Arab countries. The current efforts and activities to overcome these problems in these countries are still inadequate, which may be related to several administrative and technical factors.
